An extraordinary event on Wednesday 28th July within the 2021 edition of Risvegli festival will disclose to the public the unusual charm of the Botanical Garden at first light: the OPV - Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto, conducted by Marco Angius, will perform the Siegfried Idyll by Richard Wagner, accompanying with its notes the beginning of a new day.

This piece, one of the symbols of music naturalism, encompasses all nature elements, merged and restored in an unceasing sound flow: the water of the Rhine River, the calls of the forest, the memory of the Valkyrie fire. Everything contributes to open the sound to the world, and the music form becomes revealed nature itself.

Participation to the concert (duration: 25 minutes) is by booking only and it is included in the Botanical Garden ticket, reduced to 5 euros (in addition to the usual free tickets, admission is also free for children up to 12 years). It is also possible to visit the greenhouses of the Biodiversity Garden and Planet Book. The exhibition from 5.20am to 7.30am.

In case of bad weather, the event may be postponed to the following day; if you booked your place, you will be notified by email.
